The Quinta das Aveleiras is a tranquil, nature-surrounded farm stay in Torre de Moncorvo. The property includes an outdoor swimming pool with a scenic view of the lush green gardens and the Serra do Reboredo. The Quinta’s rustic air-conditioned houses all feature a fireplace, private bathroom with free toiletries, flat-screen TV, fully-equipped kitchenette, separate dining area and views of the mountains and local landmarks. Some of the typical Douro units also include a patio. Breakfast is included in the rate and guests are also welcome to prepare their meals in the equipped kitchenette. The facility includes a microwave, refrigerator, toaster and cutlery. Several local restaurants are accessible via a 5-minute walk from the Quinta. Quinta das Aveleiras’ swimming pool area features sun loungers and is lodged in scenic surroundings. The farm has vineyards, olive trees, almond trees and hazelnut trees. Guests can take in the atmosphere and go for a hike or discover the region in one of the hotel’s bicycles. A tennis court is also available, at an extra fee. The property includes a children’s playground. It is a 2-hour drive from Porto a 1-hour drive from Salamanca.
