Amid the rolling fields 15 minutes’ drive from Bath sits April Cottage, a traditional stone building providing en suite accommodation with free Wi-Fi. Each bedroom at 189 April Cottage comes with a view of the garden, and inside the rooms have original wood beamed ceilings. All rooms come with free toiletries and tea/coffee-making facilities. In the living and dining room, the rustic inglenook fireplace houses a wood burning stove, providing warmth for cold nights in with a good book. Alternatively, the cottage’s sun room looks out onto a pretty walled garden. There are also a piano and a CD player for guests to use. Breakfasts are prepared on the property’s Aga cooker, and guests are welcome to use the kitchen should they need to. Bradford on Avon is a 5-minute drive away and has many shops and restaurants, and also a train station providing access to Bristol in under half an hour.
