This historically listed cottage was originally owned by Ann Tyson, who William Wordsworth lodged with during his school days. It has free Wi-Fi, and is situated in the Lake District, 3 miles from Lake Windermere. Surrounded by picturesque fells and beautiful hills and lakes, Ann Tysons House is a 10-minute drive from Ambleside. The Lake District is the largest National Park in the UK, and the B&B is surrounded by scenic walks. Traditionally furnished, rooms at Ann Tysons House retain original features like old wooden beams. Each also comes with a TV and facilities for making tea and coffee. A full English breakfast is provided each morning, or alternatively Hawkshead has two restaurants within 5 minutes’ walk.
