This restored 15th century coaching inn is situated in the heart of the small medieval city of Wells, by the cathedral green, just metres away from the ancient marketplace. Situated in the city centre, the hotel is a great base from which to discover historic Wells and the surrounding areas of beauty and interest in Somerset. Bristol, Bath, Glastonbury, Cheddar, Clarks Village, Wookey Hole and Longleat are all close by. The White Hart Hotel is now a well-established fixture in Wells, offering bed and breakfast accommodation, with a full cooked English breakfast included in the room rate. The hotel offer 15 refurbished en suite bedrooms, a large function and banqueting suite and a ground-floor restaurant. All of the rooms are individually decorated and many still retain some of the more interesting original historical features of the building, while simultaneously incorporating modern comforts and facilities.
