Located in the centre of Encamp, BTE Hotel Montalari is conveniently situated within easy reach of the free shuttle-bus that connects with the Funicamp cable-car and Grandvalira ski resort. The Grandvalira ski resort is 2 km away but for those wishing to do some cross-country skiing there are other resorts 15 km away. The hotel itself has a bar/restaurant open to the public, which is within close proximity to a selection of shops, bars and restaurants.

The hotel will be closed from April to December due to the low season. The published rates for stays on the 31 December include a mandatory fee for the gala dinner held on these evening.
