Unterkunft Hotel-Hauensteiner-Hof

This family-run hotel in the Palatinate Forest lies next to Hauenstrein’s Shoe Museum. Surrounded by scenic hiking routes, it offers a country-style restaurant and cosy rooms with a balcony. Hotel-Hauensteiner-Hof offers colourfully decorated rooms with a minibar and TV. Each has a private bathroom with shower. The rustic Café-Restaurant Dorfstübel features traditional wooden furniture and serves a range of German dishes and wines, as well as lactose-free food on request. A varied breakfast buffet is provided, and there is a large beer garden. Paddle boats for the River Queich can be hired just 900 metres from the hotel, and there is a children’s adventure playground. Please note that the restaurant is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays from December until February. The restaurant is closed on Mondays from March until July, and in November. The restaurant is open every day between August and October. Breakfast is served and the reception is open every day of the year.
