The cosy skiing and hiking Hotel Schmitta offers a beautiful location at the foot of the Aletsch Glacier in the Upper Rhone Valley. The cable car, which goes to the beautiful Fiescheralp, is only a few minutes' walk away. Hotel Schmitta features comfortable rooms and apartments, and is well known for its great cuisine. The traditional fondues are especially popular. Fiesch and its surroundings offer a wide range of signposted hiking and mountain bike trails.
