Originally a coaching inn dating back to 1770, the Best Western Plus Castle Inn is now a modern venue with views of Bassenthwaite Lake. Cheques as a method of payment are not accepted on departure although they may be accepted 4 weeks prior to the stay on a deposit basis. If booking on behalf of a guest, a bank transfer must be made at least 7 days before arrival, or an advance purchase rate must be booked.
